Village Administrator and Civil Servant Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Natogyi Township of Mandalay Region

     Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians, as well as killings.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 July 2025 at 8:45 AM, while Village Administrator U Saw Win (56 years old), a resident of Ka Nar Village in Natogyi Township of Mandalay Region, was at the “Myo Tun” tea shop in the village together with U Aung Kyaw Myo (40 years old), a ward/village clerk from the Tada-U Township General Administration Department Office and a resident of Daung Oo Village in Tada-U Township, approximately 20 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted both individuals, it is reported.
    Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend, and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
