Innocent Civilian Abducted and Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Kamma Township of Magway Region

     The terrorists, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 24 February 2026 at 4:15 PM, U Khin Maung Lwin (54 years old), a resident of Bant Pyin Village in Kamma Township of Magway Region, was returning home on his motorcycle from Kamma Town. When he reached at the crossroads of Si Village located about two furlongs south of Bant Pyin Village, so-called PDF terrorists forced him to stop and abducted him. The terrorists then took him to an area near the cemetery of Khyo Pin Village, where they opened fire on him. As a result, U Khin Maung Lwin died on the spot, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
