Innocent Civilian Killed in Landmine Explosion Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Salin Township of Magay Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 12 April 2026 at 9:30 AM, U Kyi Lin (66 years old), a resident of Kyi Kone Village in Salin Township of Magway Region, was walking to Paung Tu (South) Village. When he reached the Gway Pin Zin Village and Myay Ni Kone Village Road, he stepped on a landmine planted by so-called PDF terrorists. As a result, U Kyi Lin sustained shrapnel injuries. He was transported to Salin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
