Innocent Civilian Killed, Other Injured in Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Sinbaungwe Township of Magway Region

     The terrorists, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 9 February 2026, at 3:15 AM, U Aung Ko Ko (31 years old) and his wife, Ma Thawdar San (19 years old), both residents of Hlay Wun Village in Sinbaungwe Township of Magway Region, were at their house, six so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them, accusing of being “Informants”. As a result, U Aung Ko Ko died on the spot, while Ma Thawdar San sustained gunshot wounds. The deceased and injured individuals were transported to Chaung Kauk Station Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
