Innocent Civilians Injured in Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Magway and Wetlet Townships

     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing, and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 28 February 2026 at 11:50 PM, so-called PDF terrorists arrived at Si Pin Village in Magway Township of Magway Region. The terrorists then opened fire on five villagers: U Hla Myint Oo (58 years old), U Hla Shwe Oo (62 years old), U Aye Lwin (51 years old), U Tun Myint (40 years old) and Daw Moe Moe (50 years old), accusing them of being “Informants And Decoys” As a result, the villagers died on the spot, it is reported.

     Similarly, on 1 March 2026 at 2:20 PM, a report stated that a woman with gunshot wounds was admitted to Wetlet Township Public Hospital in Sagaing Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Ma Saung Hnin Wai (16 years old) and a resident of No. 3 Ward in Wetlet Township. According to the investigation, at 2:00 PM, on the same day, while the victim was at her house, she sustained gunshot wounds recklessly fired by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
