Innocent Civilians Injured in Improvised Explosive Device Explosions Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Kambalu, Pauk and Yatsauk Townships

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 March 2026 at 10:40 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Kambalu Township Public Hospital in Sagaing Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Maung Myint (67 years old), a resident of Sal Gyi Village in Kambalu Township. According to the investigation, at 9:00 AM, on the same day, while the victim was searching for his missing cows, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists in an area about 1000 meters west of the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, on 3 March 2026 at 10:55 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Pauk Township Public Hospital in Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Han Sein (57 years old), a resident of San Yae Khone Village in Pauk Township. According to the investigation, at 8:55 AM, on the same day, while the victim was farming in his plantation field about two miles southwest of the village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, on 3 March 2026 at 1:50 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Yatsauk Township Public Hospital in Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Mg Si Thu Phyo (12 years old) and a resident of Ma Gyi Kone Village in Yatsauk Township. According to the investigation, at 11:00 AM, on the same day, the victim was playing an area southwest of the village, he triggered an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
