Three Innocent Civilians Injured After Stepping on Landmine Planted by TNLA Terrorists in Naungcho Township of Shan State

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 February 2026 at 3:30 PM, a report stated that three women with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Naungcho Township Public Hospital in Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Daw Phyu Phyu Lwin (37 years old), a resident of Taung Shae Village in Naungcho Township, Daw Than Moe San (35 years old) and Daw Si Si Aye (43 years old), both residents of Zay Kone (North) Village. According to the investigation, at 2:15 PM, on the same day, while the victims were working at a sugarcane plantation field, Daw Phyu Phyu Lwin stepped on a landmine planted by TNLA terrorist group, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
