Security personnel Successfully Rescue Two Innocent Civilians Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Tada-U Township of Mandalay Region

Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from civil servants, administrative officials and local civilians, as well as killings.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 August 2025 at 9:55 AM, a report stated that six so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles at Taung Ta Lone Village in Tada-U Township of Mandalay Region and abducted two villagers: U Win Aung (60 years old) who had been a respected member of the village community and U Hein Htet (aka) San Lin Aung (30 years old). The terrorists forcibly brought them toward Shwe Taung Village in Ngazun Township, located approximately two and a half miles northwest of Taung Ta Lone Village. According to the report, security personnel immediately launched a rescue operation. At 10:05 AM, they located the terrorists about two miles northeast of Taung Ta Lone Village and engaged them in arms. By 10:10 AM, the terrorists retreated toward Shwe Taung Village in Ngazun Township. Security personnel successfully rescued both abducted individuals, U Win Aung and U Hein Htet (aka) San Lin Aung, it is reported.
Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
