Services Requirements

  • The persons who do the chemical and related substances business such as storing, treating by technique, producing, using, import, export, transporting, possessing, distributing, purchasing, selling require to apply the licence
  • Form (1) for apply the licence for the business of chemical andrelated substancesunder rule 17
  • Working plan for management on environmental conservation
  • Three copies of facts and documents related to business
  • The copies of recommendation letters and certificates for qualifications and experiences

Required Documents

  • Application Letter using company letter head signed by Managing Director or Director (Attachment: The copy of National Registration Card or Citizenship Scrutiny Card of MD or Director)
  • The copy of insurance to compensate for general loss
  • If necessary, recommendation or permit from concerned ministries

How to apply

Step (1) -   Insurance to compensate for general loss
    A person who applies a licence, shall put the insurance in accordance with the prescriptive stipulations to be able to pay the compensation, if the impact and damage is occurred on the Human Being and Animals or the environment in respect of the chemical and related substances businesses.
Step (2) - Application for Licencefor the business of chemical and related substances
    
A person who applies a licence, shall apply with the Application Letter using company letter head, Form (1) for apply the licence, the copy of insurance , other required facts and documents.
Step (3)Paying the Licence Fee 
    
The Central Supervisory Board shall scrutinize whether or not the facts in Form(1) are completely described and the documents which shall be submitted with attachment are completed in respect of applying under rule 17. It will inform to the applicant if the submission is not inline with stipulations or require the other facts. If the facts are completed, it will inform to the relevant region or State Supervisory Board to do field inspection.
    If the field inspection report recommends to issue the licence, the applicant shall pay the fee on licence by using bank account (MD-012564) of Directorate of Industrial Collaboration at Myanma Economic Bank in Nay Pyi Taw.
Step (4) Taking out the Licence
  
 If the applicant himself/herself takes out the registration certificate, he/she shall bring the original National Registration Card or Citizenship Scrutiny Card and copy of it. If the representative takes out  theregistration certificate, he/she shall bring original National Registration Card and copy of it together with authorization letter.
Note - Duration of the licence is only valid for (2)years.
