Man Shot Dead, Two Others Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Yedashe Township of Bago Region 

     The terrorists, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 1 February 2026 at 8:00 AM, U Zaw Htet (36 years old), a resident of Thine Wa Village in Yedashe Township of Bago Region and Ko Zin Ko Win (24 years old), a resident of U-Yin Hmu Village, were travelling in a FAW vehicle owned by U Min Min (38 years old), a resident of U-Yin Hnu Village, to the Bago Yoma forest to collect bamboo. When they reached near Htone Gyi Village, five so-called PDF terrorists forced the vehicle to stop and asked to call to the vehicle’s owner. When U Min Min and U Kyaw Khine (46 years old), a resident of Khyo Pin Htike Village, were arriving at the scene by motorcycle, the terrorists opened fire on U Min Min. As a result, U Min Min died on the spot. Additionally, the terrorists abducted U Zaw Htet and Ko Zin Ko Win along with the vehicle. Fortunately, U Kyaw Khine managed to escape and was not harmed, it is reported.
     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
