Two Innocent Civilians Killed, Other Four Injured in Drone Bomb Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Yesagyo Township of Magway Region

   Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings, and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

   Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 15 January 2026 at 6:15 PM, so-called PDF terrorists conducted a drone attack by dropping bombs on Sin Chaung Village in Yesagyo Township of Magway Region. Six bombs exploded near the fence of the Basic Education High School located along the Yesagyo-Pakokku Road in the village. As a result of the blasts, U Chit Thae(52 years old) , and U Aung Win(66 years old), both residents of the village, died on the spot. In addition, U Win Zaw (51 years old); U Aung Sein Moe (48 years old); Mg Tin Phone Myat (7 years old); and Daw San Myint Htay (43 years old), also residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries. All injured individuals were transported to Pakokku District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

   According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets, and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
