Four Innocent Civilians, Including Two Children, Killed and Injured in Drone Bomb Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Kyauktaga Township of Bago Region

Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 May 2026 at 7:10 PM, so-called PDF terrorists conducted a drone attack by dropping bombs on Thar Yar Kone Village in Kyauktaga Township of Bago Region. The bombs exploded within the village. As a result, U Nay Wah Lar (49 years old) and Mg Soe Naing (6 years old), both residents of the village, died on the spot. Moreover, Daw Yar Thi Kar (30 years old) and Ma Si Wah Ni (8 years old), both residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Kyauktaga Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
According to the above mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
