In Certain Township, Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Drone Bomb Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists Sagaing and Mandalay Region

    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 April 2026 at 11:45 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Chit Ngwe (57 years old), a resident of Min Tal Ei Kin Ward in Aungmyaetharzan Township. According to the investigation, on 10 April 2026 at 1:30 PM, while the victim was cleaning within the compound of a monastery in Byan Mar Dat Village in Yinmarpin Township of Sagaing Region, a bomb dropped by a drone operated by a so-called PDF terrorists exploded nearby, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
    Similarly, at 6:00 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Ko Maung Hla (29 years old), a resident of Thar Yar Kone Village in Natogyi Township. According to the investigation, at 12:00 PM, on the same day, a so-called PDF terrorists conducted a drone attack by dropping bombs on the village. The bombs exploded within the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
    According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
