Three Education Staff Injured in Drone Bomb Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Indaw Township of Sagaing Region

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 12 May 2026 at 11:45 AM, two bombs were dropped by a drone operated by so-called PDF terrorists within the compound of the Sub Basic Education High School in Aung Zay Ya Ward in Indaw Township of Sagaing Region. As a result, U Tin Maung Win, the headmaster of the school Daw Zin Phyo Wai, an assistant of the school office; and Daw Lin Nwe Aye, a school cleaner, who were living in the school compound, sustained shrapnel injuries. The injured individuals are receiving medical treatment, it is reported.

     According to the above mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
