Two Innocent Civilians Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Oakpho Township of Bago Region

     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist groups known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 6 May 2026 at 3:30 PM, while U Aung Zaw (47 years old), a resident of Pyi Taw Aye Village in Oakpho Township of Bago Region, was at his betel shop along with a fellow villager, U Kyaw Oo (55 years old), four so-called PDF terrorists arriving by two motorcycles, and opened fire on them. As a result, both men died on the spot. Additionally, the terrorists took a motorcycle owned by U Kyaw Oo parked in front of the shop, it is reported.
     According to the above mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
