Two Primary Assistant Teachers Abducted by KIA Insurgent Group in Tanine Township of Kachin State

     Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs, and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 November 2025 at 12:30 PM, Daw Hnin Nadi Aye (25 years old), a primary assistant teacher at the Basic Education High School in Shin Bway Yan Town and a resident of No. 3 Ward in Shin Bway Yan Town and Daw San Lin Phyo (30 years old), also a primary assistant teacher at the Basic Education Secondary School in Kha Lone Village, and a resident of the village, were travelling by their respective motorcycles from Shin Bway Yan Town to Tanine Town. when they reached an area between Kha Lone Village and Ta Khat Village, five members of the KIA insurgent group forced them to stop and abducted them, it is reported. 

  Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
