Innocent Civilian Killed by KIA Insurgents and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Mohnyin Township of Kachin State

   The terrorists, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist group known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing loyal government employees who are dutifully performing their duties, monks and innocent local residents.

   Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 1 January 2026 at 4:00 PM, a report stated that the body of a man with gunshot and knife wounds was found near Nant Poat Village in Mohnyin Township of Kachin State. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, the victim was identified as Mg Wai Naing Tun (aka) Kyaw Htoo (aka) Wai Gyi (19 years old), a resident of Nyaung Kine Village in Mohnyin Township. At 3:30 PM, on the same day, while the victim was returning from Nant Poat Village, a combined group of KIA insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists opened fire and stabbed him to death near Nant Poat Village. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.

   So-called PDF terrorists killed loyal government employees, causing losses and damages to the social, economic and health sectors in the region. Local residents are condemning and protesting against the so-called PDF terrorists who carried out these terrorist acts. Therefore, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
