Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by KIA Insurgents and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Waingmaw Township of Kachin State

   Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings, and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

   Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 7 November 2025 at around 12:10 PM, a report stated that two women with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Waingmaw Township Public Hospital in Kachin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Daw La Pyae (48 years old), and Daw Htay (78 years old), both residents of No. 3 Ward in Waingmaw Township. The incident occurred when a heavy weapon shell fired by a combined group of KIA insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists exploded within the ward, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

   It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
