Three Innocent Civilians Injured in Improvised Rocket Attack by KNU and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Pharpon Township of Kayin State

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 December 2025 at 10:45 AM, a report stated that two men and a woman with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Ka Ma Maung Station Hospital in Pharpon Township of Kayin State. Security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Daw Moe Tint (50 years old), U Saw Thaung Shwe (75 years old) and U Tun Tun Win (38 years old), all residents of No. 4 Ward in Ka Ma Maung Town of Pharpon Township. According to the investigation, at 9:10 AM, on the same day, a combined group of KNU and so-called PDF terrorists fired improvised rockets into the ward. The rockets exploded within the ward, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
