Two Innocent Civilians Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region

     The terrorists, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 January 2026 at 4:20 PM, while U Myint Sein (64 years old) and his wife, Daw Hla Kyi (63 years old), both residents of Ta Lote Kone Village in Taungdwingyi Township of Magway Region, were at their house, five so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by three motorcycles, opened fire on them, accusing them of being “Decoys”. As a result, the couple died on the spot. Additionally, the terrorists took three mobile phones, MMK 155 lakhs, and gold items from the house, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
