Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Minhla Township of Magway Region

   The terrorists, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

   Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 23 January 2026 at 5:45 AM, a six-wheeled fuel tanker truck driven by Ko Phoe La Pyae (23 years old), accompanied by U Thant Zin (37 years old), both residents of No. 6 Ward in Minhla Township of Magway Region, was travelling from Minhla Town to Yae Nan Ma Village. At 5:45 AM, when the truck reached at the junction of Kan Toke – Sis Sa Nhot – Pyay Soe crossroads in Minhla Township, so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on the truck using small arms. As a result, the front windshield and the right front wheel of the truck were damaged. Additionally, Ko Phoe La Pyae and U Thant Zin sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to Yae Nan Ma Station Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

   According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
