Two Innocent Civilians Injured After Stepping on Landmine Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Singu Township of Mandalay Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 December 2025 at 4:20 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Madaya Township Public Hospital in Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Naing Zaw Htet (30 years old) and U Kyaw (65 years old), both residents of Shwe Pyi Aye Village in Singu Township. At 11:15 AM, on the same day, while the victims were on their way to search for a missing cow, U Kyaw accidentally stepped on a landmine planted by a so-called PDF terrorists on a jungle path about one mile east of their village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
