Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by Terrorist Faction in Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region

     Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets, and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages. 
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 15 May 2025 at 8:15 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they identified the victim as U Maung Than (58 years old) a resident of Lay Pin (South) Village in Kyaukpadaung Township. The incident occurred when a terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village, causing his injuries, it is reported. 
      Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, many innocent people, including monks and children, have been injured and killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
