100-Hosuehold Elder and Innocent Civilian Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Kalaw Township of Shan State

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 December 2025 at 9:30 PM, while U Nyunt Tin, a 100-household elder and a resident of Pway Hla Kone Village in Kalaw Township of Shan State and U Myo Aung (50 years old), a resident of No. 3 Ward, were at their respective houses, three so-called PDF terrorists arrived claiming “to ask some questions” and abducted them, along with MMK 900,000, five mobile phones and two motorcycles, it is reported. 

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
