KIA Insurgents and So-Called PDF Terrorists Rob of Vehicle, Cash and Gold Items Worth an Estimated MMK 917 Lakhs in Worth in Mohnyin Township of Kachin State

     Armed terrorists are committing acts of violence in towns and villages across various regions and states. These acts include the arrest and extortion of civil servants and innocent civilians living peacefully, as well as the murder of these individuals. The groups also use weapons to threaten and rob people of their valuable possessions, including cars and motorcycles.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 December 2025 at 7:45 AM, Daw Aye Aye Khine (53 years old) and her mother, Daw Khin Myint (75 years old), both residents of Ah Shae Su Ward in Mohnyin Township of Kachin State, were travelling by car to Myintkyina Town along the Nan Mar-Hopin road, together with along with her cousin, Daw Nyein Nyein Ei (30 years old), a resident of Mya Kyun Thar Ward in Hopin Town. When the vehicle reached an area near Lat Pan Tan Village, three individuals from KIA insurgent and so-called PDF terrorists forced the vehicle to stop and robbed them of approximately MMK 300 million in cash, two necklaces, a gold bracelet, a gold ring, two mobile phones and the vehicle, which is estimated to be worth about MMK 917 lakhs, it is reported. 

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
