A Driver from the Non-Profit Rescue Association Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Dawei Township of  Tanintharyi Region

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from the families of civil servant, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 December 2025, at 8:00 AM, Ko Myat Thura Aung (aka) Myat Thu (27 years old), a driver from the “Zabuthiri” Emergency Patients Transport Team and a resident of Htain Thit Ward, Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region, together with passengers Ko Aung Phyo (aka) Ko Phyo (26 years old) and Ma Nyein (29 years old), both from Painnae Taw Ward, as well as Ma Thandar Soe (26 years old), a resident of Thayet Chaung Town, Thayet Chaung Township, were travelling by vehicle to Baema Tat Village, Dawei Township. Upon reaching the vicinity of Thingan Tone Village, members of the so-called PDF terrorists stopped the vehicle and forcibly abducted Ko Myat Thura Aung (aka) Myat Thu, it is reported.

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
