In Certain Townships, Innocent Civilians Injured in Improvised Explosive Device Explosions Planted by so-called PDF Terrorists

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses. PDF terrorists are recklessly carrying out landmine planting and bombings using explosives on public roads and bridges, with the aim of causing injuries to the public and destroying regional development.

    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 June 2026 at 2:45 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to Palaw Township Public Hospital in Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the Hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Min Paing Oo (32 years old) a resident of Shat Pon Village in Palaw Township. According to the investigation, the victim was traveling by motorcycle to Phawt Village. At 1:00 PM on the same day, when he reached an area near Ah Htet Paung Village about three miles north of Shat Pon Village, an improvised explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the road side, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 3:00 PM on the same day, U Aung Kyaw Toe (39 years old) and Ma Thon Hay Thi (20 years old) both residents of Maung Kone Village in Htigyaing Township of Sagaing Region, were traveling by car to San Pya Ward in Htigyaing Township. When they reached an area near the Township Law Office in the ward, an improvised explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorists exploded on the roadside. As a result, they sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Htigyaing Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
