In Certain Townships, Three Innocent Civilians Injured in Improvised Explosive Device Explosions Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorists

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 May 2026 at 1:00 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Mindon Township Public Hospital in Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the Hospital to conduct further investigation, the victims were identified as U Soe Min Aung (37 years old) and U Yan Naung Soe (34 years old) both residents of Pyay Township of Bago Region. According to the investigation, at 11:00 AM on the same day, while the victims were traveling in a fuel truck from Htan Pin Kone Village to Mindon Town along the Htan Pin Kone-Mindon dirt road. When the truck reached an area between Kywal Bay Village and Ta Mar Village, an improvised explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist exploded on the roadside, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 5:30 PM on the same day, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the Hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Saw Lwin (40 years old) a resident of Khan Sat Kone (West) Village in Natogyi Township. According to the investigation, at 12:00 PM on the same day, while the victim was farming in his plantation field near the village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
