In Certain Townships, Two Innocent Civilians Killed and Another Injured in Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists Mandalay and Bago Region

     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist groups known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing, and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.
      Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 5 April 2026 at 8:00 AM, a report stated that a man was killed and another sustained gunshot wounds in In Ting Village in Yamethin Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the scene to conduct further investigation, it was found that 4 April 2026 at 12:30 AM, while U Zaw Min (45 years old), his wife, Daw Soe (56 years old), his elder brother U Zaw Moe (47 years old) and his sister-in-law, Daw Myo Myo (40 years old), all residents of the village, were at their house, two so-called PDF terrorists arrived and robbed them of three gold rings, a gold necklace and a mobile phone. The terrorists then opened fire on them. As a result, U Zaw Min died on the spot, while U Zaw Moe sustained gunshot wounds. The deceased and injured men were transported to Yamethin District Public Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.
       Similarly, at 9:20 AM, on the same day, while U Myint San (63 years old), a railway guard and a resident of Ka Nyunt Kwin Ah Nout (2) Ward in Phyu Township of Bago Region, was performing his duties at Railway Track Gate No. (8) near milepost (200/1) in the ward, two so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Myint San died on the spot, it is reported.
     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
