Innocent Civilian Injured After Stepping on Landmine Planted by MNDAA Terrorists in Lashio Township of Shan State

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 February 2026 at 3:15 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Lashio District Public Hospital in Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Aike Aye (37 years old), a resident of Nant Kyan Village in Lashio Township. According to the investigation, at 11:45 AM, on the same day, while the victim was farming in an upland plantation field near the village, he stepped on a landmine planted by MNDAA terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terroris from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
