Innocent Civilians Killed by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Natmauk and Kyaukpadaung Townships

    The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 20 March 2026 at 11:45 AM, a report stated that the body of a man with gunshot wounds was found near milepost 4/1 on the Natmauk-Sai Kaung Road in Natmauk Township of Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the scene to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Khin Maung Tun (44 years old), a resident of Lay Eain Village in Magway Township. According to the investigation, on 18 March 2026, the victim left his home for Pyawbwe Town to buy a cow, together with U San Lin (aka) U Nga Chin, a resident of Pa Tauk Nghot Village in Natmauk Township. However, they did not return home, and a search was initiated. Later, U Khin Maung Tun was found dead with gunshot wounds on the roadside of the Natmauk- Sai Kaung Road, reportedly shot by so-called PDF terrorists. U San Lin (aka) U Nga Chin has not yet been found, and efforts to locate him are ongoing, it is reported.

    Similarly, on 20 March 2026 at 4:10 PM, while U Soe Htay Aung (50 years old), a resident of Na Kyat Khwal Village in Kyaukpadaung Township of Mandalay Region, was at his house, eight so-called PDF terrorists arriving by four motorcycles, opened fire on him, accusing him of being a “Decoy”. As a result, U Soe Htay Aung died on the spot, it is reported.

    According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
