Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Salingyi Township of Sagaing Region

   Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings, and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

   Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 November 2025, around 9:50 PM, a heavy weapon shell fired by a so-called PDF terrorist group into the Lat Pa Daung Mountain Copper Project Compound in Salingyi Township of Sagaing Region. Aa a result, two employees from Modern Pioneer Industrial Group (MPIG): Ko Kyaw Zay Ya (22 years old), a resident of Phaung Kar (North) Village in Salingyi Township, and U Tun Naing Win (40 years old), a resident of Tal Pin Kan Village in Yinmarpin Township, who were working within the compound, sustained shrapnel injuries. The injured individuals are receiving medical treatment at Mine Myo Hospital in the project compound, it is reported.

   It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
