Two Innocent Civilians Abducted and Threatened by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Myeik Township of Tanintharyi Region

Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 December 2025, at 11:00 PM, while U Soe Nge (45 years old) and U Yi Wai Naing (32 years old), both residents of Tat Taung Village in Myeik Township of Tanintharyi Region, were at their respective houses, a so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted them. On 2 December, at 2:00 PM, the abducted men returned their respective houses. As a result, security personnel investigated the incident and found that, after releasing them, the terrorists had threatened the abducted men not to communicate with the military, it is reported.
Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
