Some KNLA Brigade (6) members who support terrorism and PDF terrorists fired small arms on and destroyed a 12-wheeler truck and another 6-wheeler trucks loaded with used cars and motorbikes on 29 May while the trucks were on the way to Mawlamyine from Ye. The armed insurgents and terrorists fired small arms to flatten the trucks’ tires and then burnt down the cabins.

Although the Government is making all-round efforts to facilitate the transport, communication and trade-flow in respective regions and states, the terrorist groups are committing the crimes such as remote-mine attacks, small arms attacks and obtaining money by extortion from passenger buses. Moreover, they are also harassing the privately-owned vehicles and therefore, the entire population is disgusted by the terrorists.

Security personnel are now taking necessary security measures to arrest the terrorists and take harsh legal actions against them who fired weapons and destroyed the non-military targets of civilian vehicles.
