Introduction

Yangon City Bank Ltd.,was started on 2nd April 1993,at No.(12/18) Sibin Street, Kyauktada Township, Yangon. On 2nd April 2002, Yangon City Bank's Head Office was opened at corner of Mill road and Banyardala road, Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township, Yangon,Myanmar. Branch location is at Kyauktada Township. All of YCB's Capital are 100% shares of Yangon City Development Committee.

Bank Goals and Mission are as follows, To success YCDC services , To promote efficient customer services, To liquidity/ profitability/ follow up, the Myanmar Law and CBM regulation, to promote and enhance efficiency of financial activities and to proper functioning of a soundly based Financial System.

Bank Products and Services are Current Account, Savings Account, Fixed Deposit Account, Loan and Overdrafts Account, Domestic Account, Payment Order, Bank Guarantee, Local Remittance Clearing House and MPU Debit Card.

Bank Interest Rate

Savings Account Interest Rate is 8.50 % per year (Bank pay Savings Account Interest once a 6 months). Fixed Deposit Account Interest Rate are 9.25 % (3 months) , 9.50 % (6 months) , 9.75 % (9 months) and 10.00 % (12 months) , Loan and Overdrafts Account Interest Rate is 12.00 % per year.

Bank Commission and Service Charges

Payment Order Commission is 0.1 %
Local Remittance Fee is 5 Pyas for remittance amount 100 Kyats.

MPU Debit Card Fees and Charges

  • Minimum Balance - 1,000 Ks
  • Card Lost Fees - 5,000 Ks
  • Card damage Fees - 3,000 Ks
  • Card Fees - 3,000 Ks
  • Pin Changes Fees - 3,000 Ks
  • Card Transaction Fees - 50 Pyas for card transaction amount 100 kyats.

Remittance Remittance with YaDaNarBon Bank can remit to (1) Place , Remittance with MyaWaddy Bank can remit to ( 54 ) Places , Remittance with YoMa Bank can remit to ( 50 ) Places , Remittance with Global Treasure Bank(or)Myanmar Livestocks and Fishery Development Bank can remit  to ( 139 ) Places. Remittance with Ayarwaddy Bank can remit to ( 234 ) Places.

Main Customer is YCDC. Loan Customers are Agriculture ,Livestock, Fishery, Factory, Machinery , Gold and Jewellery and others Remittance Customers are Shwe Pyi Son Market, MinGaLar Mon Market; New MinGaLar Market, Near City Hall and Others. Our bank fill up customer's satisfaction fully.
