၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၂၈ ရက်နေ့တွင် စတင်ကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် ပါတီစုံဒီမိုကရေစီအထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲကြီးကို အပိုင်း ၃ ပိုင်းဖြင့် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး ဒီမိုကရေစီစံနှုန်းများနှင့်အညီ လွတ်လပ်ပြီးတရားမျှတသောရွေးကောက်ပွဲအဖြစ် အောင်မြင်စွာ ကျင်းပပေးနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ ယခုကျင်းပပြီးစီးခဲ့သည့် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲသည် ယခင်ရွေးကောက်ပွဲများနှင့် မတူညီဘဲ အခက်အခဲအမျိုးမျိုးကြားမှ ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ရသော်လည်း နိုင်ငံရေးပါတီများအနေဖြင့် စိတ်အားထက်သန်စွာဖြင့် ပါဝင်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့ကြသကဲ့သို့ မဲဆန္ဒရှင်ပြည်သူများအနေဖြင့်လည်း နိုင်ငံသားတစ်ယောက်အနေဖြင့် တာဝန်ကျေပွန်စွာ၊ စိတ်ပါဝင်စားစွာ လာရောက်မဲပေးခဲ့ကြသည်။
