PDF Members with no Crime Records Returning Legal Fold Entrusted to their Parents

Four male PDF members from Dagon Myo Thit (South) township, Thingangyun township, Ye township and Thaton township who attended trainings in the areas of some EAOs, committed no crimes and returned to legal fold, were entrusted to their respective parents. Moreover, the officials of the relevant regional government also provided cash assistances to the returnees. Cash awards of K2 million were presented to two male PDF members from Dagon Myo Thit (South) and Ye township. Up to 30 May 2023, a total of 530 persons including 396 males and 134 females have already entered legal fold.

The SAC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services delivered a speech to the senior officer instructors and senior officer trainees at the CGSC in Kalaw Town. Then, the Senior General and party inspected the sale of foodstuffs and consumer goods at fair prices in the headquarters of local battalions in Kalaw station, and preparations to dredge the silt from Natyaykan Lake in the local battalion and left necessary instructions.

As the railroads will be used for transport of both passengers and goods, systematical construction is necessary for durability. Efforts must be made for arranging all rail tracts to endure trains can run at the speed of 100 kilometres per hour as the original goal, and it is necessary to review the plan to admit more than the aforesaid speed of trains from the engineering point of view. Operation of trains is public transportation that can save fuel and facilitate transport of commuters and goods. And this is a public transport system beneficial for the State. The railway circular being built near Htithein station is in a similar shape to the eminent Bawa Thanthaya railway and viaduct in order to draw the attention of train passengers.

Farming-based production industry, the main business of the country, must be promoted for national economic growth. As the yield of paddy in the Pa-O region reaches some 67 baskets per acre, local farmers need to strive for meeting the target of the per-acre yield of paddy to benefit the region. Only when they can consume electricity will they accelerate manufacturing. Hence, efforts must be made for generating electricity in Pa-O region. The government disburses capital to local farmers under relevant financial rules and regulations. Encouraging MSME businesses aim to increase production, substitute imported goods and export more products to foreign markets. Danu Self-Administered Zone is endowed with natural beauties attracting travellers and it possesses significant places with fine weather. Hence, it is necessary to strive for improvement of tourism industry with drawing attention of local and foreign travellers. If the region can improve quality of traditional foodstuffs and domestic products with attraction, these will contribute much to the regional development and help increase number of travellers to the region.
