Myanmar delegates visit Wuling EV automobile factory, Hu-Gui food-processing company

THE Myanmar delegation, led by Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr Aung Zeya, continued the fourth-day study tour of AI Technology Exchange in Liuzhou City on 5 December.

The deputy minister and party visited the SAIC-GM Wuling company, and officials briefed the manufacturing processes of EVs with the Intelligent Island Manufacturing System every ten minutes. They then discussed cooperating in research and technology development and producing skilled experts.

On arrival at Hu-Gui food-processing company, Manager Ms Wei Qiuling and relevant officials clarified the establishment of laboratories in the factory compound and measures to maintain the quality of products by cooperating with research groups, including Guangxi University of Science and Technology, local employment opportunities, distribution processes nationwide and e-commerce pre-order services.

The deputy minister highlighted the measures that are the same as the national objectives of Myanmar to promote the agriculture and livestock breeding-based industry and food security, and discussed AI usage and production processes in line with the standard quality. — MNA/KTZH
