The so-called PDF terrorists attacked the ward and village by dropping bombs using drones

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 April, 2024 at 11:35 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group attacked Wetpoat Village, Myaing Township, Magway Region, by dropping bombs using a drone. The bombs exploded on the Branch Basic Education High School and the village monastery. As a result, 12 galvanized roofs of the teaching building and six galvanized roofs of the monastery were damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 11:40 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group attacked Thayetkan Village, Myaing Township, by dropping bombs using a drone. The bombs exploded on the house of U San Lwin (55) years old who lives in the village. As a result, seven galvanized roofs and a cabinet were damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 5:45 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group attacked Aungsan Ward, Ye-U Township, Sagaing Region, by dropping bombs using a drone. The bombs exploded in the open ground within the yard of Daw Kyi Shwin (58 years old) who lives in the ward. As a result, Daw Kyi Shwin sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to the Ye-U Township Traditional Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving the drone-dropped bombs attack and resulted in the injurie and damages described previously. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
