Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by KIA Insurgents and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Kathar Township of Sagaing Region

Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 22 May 2025, at 8:55 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Kathar Township of Sagaing Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they identified the victim as Ko Min Khant Soe (24 years old), a resident of Padamyar Ward in Kathar Township. The incident occurred when a group of KIA insurgents, along with so-called PDF terrorists, fired heavy weapons into the victim’s ward, causing his injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards, and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent people have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
