Child Killed in Heavy Weapon Attack by KNU Terrorists and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Waw Township of Bago Region

   Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings, and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

   Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 September 2025, at 12:20 PM, three 60 mm shells fired by a combined group of KNU terrorists and so-called PDF terrorists exploded within Thu Ye Thu Mein Village in Waw Township of Bago Region. As a result, Mg Htoo Myat Lin (nine years old), a resident of the village, who was passing by the incident at the time, sustained shrapnel injuries. The injured boy was transported to Sin Ywar Station Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

   It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
