In Certain Townships, Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 May 2026 at 10:50 AM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Ma Moe Hay Mhan Kyaw (14 years old), a resident of Taung Tin Village in Shwebo Township. According to the investigation, on 27 May 2026 at 11:30 AM, so-called PDF terrorists fired heavy weapon shells into the village, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 4:20 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Myint Swe (66 years old), a resident of Kyawt Min Village in Myinmu Township of Sagaing Region. According to the investigation, on 29 May 2026 at 8:30 PM, so-called PDF terrorists fired heavy weapon shells into the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
