In Certain Townships, Two Innocent Civilians Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists

An innocent civilian shot dead by so-called PDF terrorists in Mudon Township of Mon State.


     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 19 April 2026 at 9:25 AM, a report stated that the body of a man with gunshot wounds was found at a plantation field in Ka Mar Wat Ward, Mudon Township of Mon State. When security personnel arrived at the scene to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Chan Saw (36 years old), a resident of the ward. According to the investigation, on 18 April 2026 at 6:30 PM, the victim was at his house when five so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted him. The terrorists then took him to a plantation field near the ward, where they opened fire on him. As a result, the victim died on the spot, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 4:25 PM, on the same day, while U Myo Naing Oo (aka) Myo Gyi (47 years old), a resident of Kone Zin Village in Paungde Township of Bago Region, was at his house, six so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles and opened fire on him, accusing him of being a “Decoy”. As a result, U Myo Naing Oo (aka) Myo Gyi died on the spot, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
