     On 28 February at 3:30 AM, members of the KNU, who support terrorism, along with a so-called PDF terrorist group, detonated Bridge No. 4/136 near Mokaung Village in Thaton Township, Mon State.
    The explosion caused the Reinforced Concrete Bridge, which measuring 37 feet in length and 48 feet in width, located on the Yangon-Mawlamyine Road between mileposts 135/7 and 136, to collapsed and be destroyed. Additionally, the explosion damaged the roof and walls of the two-story house of Ko Pyae Phyo Aung (28 years old), who lived near the bridge. The house, featuring a galvanized metal roof and walls made of weathered wooden boards, suffered from mine shrapnel damage, it is reported.
    Responsible officials are currently dedicated to swiftly repairing the damaged bridge. Meanwhile, security personnels are investigating the culprits behind the acts of terrorism mentioned above, aiming to take effective legal action. This effort aligns with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
