Recreational Travel Arranged for Military Personnel Injured in Serving State Defence Duties to Visit Chaungtha Beach

According to the guidelines of the Head of the Tatmadaw, the recreational travel has been arranged for the military personnel who are now recovered from their wounds after receiving necessary medical treatments at the military hospitals, to visit Chaungtha Beach in Ayeyawady Region on 19 September, and they arrived back in Yangon on 24 September.

· During their recreational visit from 19 to 24 September, the military personnel took relaxation such as walking on the beach, doing physical exercises, and playing beach football, volleyball and cane-ball.

· Moreover, they also paid homage to the famous pagodas in Chaungtha Town and Pathein City, and visited the famous areas such as manufacturing and museums in Chauntha, and the Military Museum of South-West Command HQs in Pathein.

The relevant Commanders of Military Commands and officials fulfilled the needs

of those military personnel who took relaxation so that they have a chance to visit freely the famous places and obtain local knowledge. Moreover, they expressed their gratitude to the Head of the Tatmadaw and relevant officers who arranged such recreational visit that is good journey boosting mental strength for them, according to the one of them.
