So-Called PDF Terrorists Torch a House in Pyawbwe Township of Mandalay Region

Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons. They also conducting improvised rocket attacks and using drones to drop bombs on government buildings, schools, hospitals and houses, as well as committing arson attacks, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 March 2026 at 8:00 PM, six so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles at Khat Lan Kyin Village in Pyawbwe Township of Mandalay Region, and set fire to the house of U Phoe Htaung (50 years old), the village administrator and resident of the village. As a result, the two-story house, built with galvanized roofing and brick walls, was damaged by the fire, it is reported.
According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against reclclers use of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets, drone attacks involving the dropping of bombs and arson attacks on government buildings, schools, hospitals and houses, as well as abductions and killings of civilians. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
