Some KNLA Brigade (6) Members who Support Terrorism Fire Heavy Weapons Near Kyaikdon Town of Kyainseikgyi Township

           Some KNLA Brigade (6) members who support terrorism fired heavy weapons targeting the security personnel taking local security measures in the vicinity of Kyaikdon town of Kyainseikgyi township on 23 May. They then retreated after clash with security personnel. The heavy weapon shells fired by the insurgents fell and exploded near a bridge at the entrance of Kyaikdon town killing a 14-year-old child and injuring another 9-year-old child.

The terrorists of political extremism are frequently carrying out reckless attacks like firing heavy weapons, small arms, improvised mortars targeting at non-military targets of schools, departmental buildings, villages and residential areas and also dropping bombs on them using drones. The inhumane violent acts inflict damages of lives and properties of innocent civilians including children and therefore, the entire population can no longer tolerate such brutal acts and are disgusted by them.

Security personnel are now taking necessary security measures for the community peace and stability also to identify and arrest the terrorists who fired heavy weapons into the towns where innocent civilian live.
