Village Administrator and Two Innocent Civilians Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Phyu of Myeik and Thegon Townships

The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 8 March 2026 at 2:15 PM, while U Phoe Lone (aka) U Myo Naing Oo (42 years old), a resident of Nyaung Pin Thar Village in Phyu Township of Bago Region, was at his house, two so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him, accusing him of being a “decoy”. As a result, U Phoe Lone (aka) U Myo Naing Oo died on the spot, it is reported.
Similarly, on 8 March 2026 at 9:20 PM, while U Khin Soe (58 years old), the village administrator and a resident of Khyo Pin Thar Gyi Village in Thegon Township of Bago Region, was at his house, seven so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Khin Soe died on the spot, it is reported.
Similarly, on 8 March 2026 at 8:20 PM, while U Min Lat (52 years old), a resident of Pa Lone Village in Myeik Township of Tanintharyi Region, was at his house, so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by motorcycles and opened fire on him, accusing him of being a “decoy”. As a result, U Min Lat died on the spot, it is reported.
According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of administrative officials and innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
