မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအစိုးရအနေဖြင့် နိုင်ငံတကာနှင့် တစ်ကမ္ဘာလုံးကို အန္တရာယ်ပေးနေသည့် အွန်လိုင်းလိမ်လည်မှုများ၊ အွန်လိုင်းလောင်းကစားမှုများ တိုက်ဖျက်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များကို အမျိုးသားရေးတာဝန်တစ်ရပ်အနေဖြင့် အလေးထားတိုက်ဖျက်ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်း လုံးဝအခြေမပြုနိုင်ရေးအတွက် ပြည်တွင်းအင်အားစုများအပြင် အိမ်နီးချင်းနိုင်ငံအစိုးရများနှင့်လည်း ပေါင်းစပ်ညှိနှိုင်း၍ အဆိုပါဒုစရိုက်မှုနှိမ်နင်းရေးလုပ်ငန်းများကို တက်ကြွစွာ ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည်။

၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလမှစတင်၍ ပြည်ထောင်စုအဆင့်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီးဌာနများမှ နိုင်ငံ့ဝန်ထမ်းအချို့သည် အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် ခွင့်ပြုချက်မရရှိဘဲ လုပ်ငန်းခွင်ကို စွန့်ခွာသွားကြသည့်အတွက် သက်ဆိုင်ရာဌာနများ၏ အမည်မည်းစာရင်း (Black Lists)တွင် ပါဝင်နေ၍ စိုးရိမ်ပူပန်စိတ်ဖြင့် အခြားနေရာများသို့ ရှောင်တိမ်းနေကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Oral hearings in the case between The Gambia and Myanmar were held at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, the Netherlands, from 12 to 29 January. Myanmar counsels submitted their second round of submissions on the final day from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 4:30 pm local time on 29 January.
