1.      Representing the interest of people, Kachin State Hluttaw is practicing the following policies to envisage its vision and objectives.

(f) Proficiency, responsibility, and accountability

(g) A collective and coordinated manner

Our vision

2.       Kachin State Hluttaw has a vision of creating a peaceful environment with a higher living standard to envisage peace and tranquility and social development, legislating the regulations which is transparent and helpful to keep peace and tranquility with checks and balances, and creating all round development for all people.

 

Objectives

3.      The objectives of Kachin State Hluttaw are as follows:

(a) To legislate the laws that fully protect the interest of the people and to monitor whether these laws are abided or not

(b) To enhance the role of Hluttaw Committee to oversight the activities and functions of the Government

(c) To have a standard budget system that can monitor and allocate the public finance in a transparent and effective way

(d) To upgrade the skills and capacities of the members of parliament

(e) To upgrade the skills and capacities of the parliamentary staff

(f) To establish a Hluttaw Learning Centre in order to advance the performances of Hluttaw and to have more trust of the people in Hluttaw

(g) To strengthen Hluttaw with interactive debates and meetings

(h) To promote collaboration and communication by keeping in touch with the public

 

Responsibilities

4.      The responsibilities of Kachin State Hluttaw are as follows:

(a) To legislate the laws that fully protect the interest of people and to monitor whether people obey the legislations or not

(b) To promote the role of Hluttaw Committee and its capacity in order to make checks and balances effectively

(c) To have a standard budget system that can monitor and allocate the public finance in a transparent and effective way

(d) To upgrade the skills and capacities of the members of parliament

(e) To upgrade the skills and capacities of the parliamentary staff

(f) To establish a Hluttaw Learning Centre in order to advance the performances of Hluttaw and to have more trust of the people in Hluttaw
